MH101 - Business (Marketing)

Go to Course - Bachelor Of Arts

Overview

Marketing is a fast-paced, dynamic and varied discipline, it connects a company to its customers.

At Maynooth University, you’ll learn how marketing links to every area of business, how it creates and captures value for companies and customers.

What do marketers do?

Marketers must understand customers – how they behave, what they need and why they buy. Understanding customers’ motivation helps businesses build long-term relationships with them.

Using both traditional and digital tools, marketers deliver value through creating innovative products and services to meet marketplace needs.

What you’ll learn

Creating and managing customers are central themes to what we teach and research.

You’ll benefit from our diverse expertise, from both local and international markets, in the areas of:

  • digital marketing
  • online retailing
  • communications
  • consumer behaviour
  • branding

Practical insights and specialisation

You’ll gain practical insights into how marketing works — from understanding what motivates customers to spotting and making the most of market opportunities.

You’ll also learn about wider business and management processes so you can deliver value to customers and your organisation.
